While the detailed schedule for UPTAC Counselling is yet to be released the registration for B Tech & B Arch Admissions have been started in the portal https://uptac.admissions.nic.in from 31st Aug 2022, The detailed schedule is now expected any day.
This is the second time when admissions in B Tech to affiliated institutions of AKTU will be done through JEE (Mains), The Opening & Closing Ranks of last year were already made available on the portal, further to help candidates to precisely know on what ranks (CRL) Colleges & Branches were allotted last year the UPTAC have launched a WhatsApp BOT +91 522 233 6810, this is a WhatsApp only number and no calls can be made.
The BOT is quite simple as per sources this BOT can be used to predict the College/Branch/Category on the based of CRL i.e JEE (Main) Ranks, in order to check that which College/Branch was allocated to a certain rank user will have to send “predict <rank>” to the Whatsapp Number +91 522 233 6810 and the AI BOT will list the 5 nearest allotments of last year.
Further you can add categories like OPEN, OPEN(GIRL), EWS(OPEN), OPEN(AF), BC BC(Girl), SC, OPEN(FF), SC(Girl), ST, BC(AF), OPEN(PH), ST(Girl), SC(AF), OPEN(TF), SC(PH), BC(PH), BC(FF). to obtain the Category Allotment of last year eg “predict 76543 BC” will provide you 5 allotments of BC Category near to the rank 76543.
Admissions to AKTU this year are being conducted through JEE (Mains), NATA, CUET(UG) & CUET(PG) the predict functionality is available for JEE(Main) Ranks only. It is expected that soon other functionality like viewing of CUET(UG) (PG) result and allotments might also be made available to the candidates through this BOT.
A similar BOT was also released in UPSEE 2020 Counselling in 2020 which was quite successful and was used by Candidates & Exam Conducting Body UPSEE to monitor the Examination as well.
