The performance of Indian Film Industry in Oscars 2023 was remarkable. Four Indian films were nominated for Academy Awards in different categories:
RRR for Best Original Song
Chhello Show for Best Foreign Language Film,
All That Breathes for Best Animated Feature,
The Elephant Whisperers for Best Documentary Feature.
RRR and The Elephant Whisperers also won the award, making it the second Oscar win for Indian producer Guneet Monga.
Additionally, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone made a stunning appearance at the Oscars red carpet, wearing a saree designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She received praise from her fans and fellow actors, including Kangana Ranaut who called her a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best.
