Today 31st July 2022 is the last date for filing returns (ITR) for individuals. As per the department over 5 Crore returns have been filed till 30th July 2022, 8:36 PM.
Various users have also reported that the income tax portal is not responding well and there are issues in the portal. in reply to this Income Tax Department has refused about any glitch and have reconfirmed that the due dates will not be increased after the Extend_Due_Date_Immediately hash tag trolled yesterday.
