Born in 1942, Alva have had a long political career she have been Governor for Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan & Uttarakhand before this she was Member of Parliament and have had various roles from 1974 itself when she was elected as MP in Rajyasabha, She have been Minister of State multiple times.
