CUET is one of the biggest Entrance Examination in India started last year where all the Central Universities and few State & Private Universities participate. Last year the Entrance was conducted quite delayed and with lot of glitches both technical and procedural.

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said in a press meet that this edition of CUET will be in 3 Shifts and both UGC & NTA are prepared in advance and are committed for a glitch free Examination his year.

Kumar said that extra computers and extra centres have been arranged as plan B so that in case there are any glitches, the candidates can be shifted there and the exam for a particular shift will not be cancelled.

Chairman further said that there are plans of a Unified Entrance Examination i.e merger with JEE, NEET is also possible but any such merger will be announced well in advance i.e at-least 2 Yr prior notification will be issued in case of mergers of entrance Examination.

This is to be noted that CUET is conducted both for Under Graduate & Port Graduate Courses for Universities and response last year was good where more that 20 Lack Candidates participated.

Lets hope for a Glitch Free Entrance Examination this year.

Best of Luck for Examinations.
