Kashipur: Driver accused of attacking ARM acquitted…

Udham singh Nagar Kashipur Judicial Magistrate has acquitted the bus driver accused of attacking the ARM of Roadways Depot due to lack of evidence. There was a dispute between the ARM and the bus driver regarding the matter of taking th old bus route.On December 10, 2016, ARM Mahendra Singh of Kashipur Depot lodged a report in Kotwali that he was standing near the time room at around eight in the morning. At that time, Gurjant Singh and Ramprakash Yadav, who were working on the computer, gave the duty slip from Kashipur depot to Bareilly road to the driver Rizwan Ahmed.But the driver Rizwan said that he will not take the old car. Rizwan shouted loudly and started making serious allegations against him. On being interrupted, Rizwan pushed him down at the gate of the time room and slapped him hard on the cheek. After registering the case, the police presented the charge sheet against the accused Rizwan in the court. The trial of this case took place in the court of Judicial Magistrate. No oral or written evidence was presented by the prosecution side. Abhishek Kamboj appeared for the defense. After hearing both the sides and perusing the evidence available on the file, the court acquitted the accused driver Rizwan due to lack of evidence.
